Fees are paid at the park HQ entrance gate or at the gate of the Matang Wildlife Centre. Fees paid cover both Kubah and Matang Wildlife Centre.
Accommodation FacilitiesOvernight visitors can book there accommodation before hand at the National Parks & Wildlife Booking Office at the Visitors' Information Centre, Kuching. Kubah Park HQ Double-Storey Bungalows with kitchen, 2 bedrooms (4 beds), air-con, TV, hot water and verandah cost RM 180 per house. Resthouses with 3 bedrooms (12 beds), fan and common cooking facilities cost RM 120 per house. Hostel Units cost RM 20 (2-bed room), RM 40 (4-bed room) and RM 60 (6-bed room). All hostel rooms have common kitchen & bathroom facilities. Matang Wildlife Centre Chalets with 2-bedrooms (4 beds) cost RM 120 per house. Hostel-style accommodation costs RM 40 per room (4 beds), RM 10 per bed. The campsite is RM 4 per person.
Getting ThereKubah is 21 km from Kuching whilst the Matang Wildlife Centre is 35 km from town. Matang Transport Company bus No. 11 departs from outside the Saujana Car Park in Kuching. Ask to be dropped off at the entrance to the park HQ which is next to the Matang Family Park picnic area. Taxis can also be chartered for the 40 minute trip to the park (RM 30, one way), or opt for an organised tour with one of Kuching's many travel operators. Useful Addresses
